Thomson Toastmasters was founded in 1988 by one of Singapore’s top public speaking coaches, Ernest Chen – founder & director of Asia Speakers Association. We are the first ever Community Centre based English Toastmasters club in Singapore. For 30 years, we have provided a warm and welcoming space for people who aspire to improve their speech & communication skills. When speakers step on stage, they are given the undivided attention of their fellow toastmasters, whom serve both as willing audience members and evaluators who wish to help them develop.
At Jurong Green Advanced Toastmasters Club, we believe in learning through serving. One can learn to be a better speaker by listening to good speakers, emulating their style, then developing ones own style. In the same way, one can learn to develop ones own leadership style by learning through practice.
